What You Need to Do Before Your Removal Team Arrives. Moving your home or workplace can be a time-consuming and exhausting procedure for you, even though removalists will be handling the majority of the hard lifting. But it doesn't have to be that way. We've put up a handy list of things you should do before your removal team shows up to make everything go more smoothly when the big move is finally here.

Dismantle the gym apparatus and the bed. By doing this, the removalists can enter and exit the building much more quickly because they won't have to waste time fumbling with stands and legs. Additionally. You may complete the procedure much more quickly by putting all of your pillows, blankets, and bedding away.

*Take adequate care of your dangerous goods

Removalists are prohibited from transporting flammables, explosives, poisons, corrosives, and other hazardous materials for insurance and liability concerns, even a mower that still has fuel in it. To prevent last-minute confusion when the removal team arrives, make sure you, separate such goods from everything else.

*Unplug all of your electrical devices

You will need to disconnect electrical devices from power yourself because removalists are not allowed to do so because to new OHS standards that are in force.

*Make sure the removal staff has access to parking close by

Removalists won't park in driveways due to the possibility that large vehicles will cause the pavement to break. Make sure you set aside enough area for the truck to park. For the movers to manoeuvre the items you're transferring nearby, and to have easy access to your property for the removal team.

*Washing machines

After disconnecting your washing machine from its water and power supply. Make sure you lower the hoses to drain them.

*Keep your phone charged

Any removal job's biggest challenge is the arrival of the removal team and inability to locate the customer. Since access from the customer is necessary for the completion of the removal. Have your cell phone on you at all times so you may be informed of the arrival time of the removalists. If possible, consider giving the removal crew a backup phone number.

Following our checklist will enable the removalists to complete the task more quickly when they come, minimising any disturbance to your business or making it much easier for you to move into your new home.
